During the pre-production stage (from Sept to Dec 2022), my focus was on UX Design for this project!

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
UI Design
I began by working on UI Maps, to work out a solid feel for the game and how man screens would be needed, this was important as we wanted the game to be easily approachable and accessible for players. I did a lot of market research of various approaches to visual novel experiences, which aided in the user-flow for the wireframe mock-ups I created and passed onto Eleanor to work from when creating the UI Assets.
Our custom texting system went through many integrations before we landed with our current implemented version, which we still aim to improve with a visible scroll bar and larger width for the player to more easily change the text scale to suit their needs.
UX Design
I began by working with UI maps, working alongside our narrative designer Cameryn to figure out all the UI screens and elements needed, before moving onto creating the user flow diagrams and then following feedback moving onto wireframes.
